Wow! 2013 went very quickly this year (to me it has anyway) and I have to say after 2012 it has been the best year EVER!!! I am going to talk about some events that happened in my 2013 and I hope you enjoy. its a little late in January to write this but I have been busy with work.
Everyone in there life every year have their ups and downs and I have to admit, so did I. I got back with an ex who I thought "had changed" when really he hadn't changed one bit. we were gonna go on holiday together and he decided he didn't want to be with me HOURS before we had to get out flight. I have to admit though I didn't cry (well I teared up a little bit) but I knew that our relationship wasn't gonna work in the back of my mind. I felt like I had closure because the way it ended last time had a very bad effect on me and I started to have panic attacks and lost alot of weight, but this time I smiled to myself and thought "I am not gonna let him win," and I had a smile on and it has not left me since.
This leads on to what I did to show myself I am better than that person and went for my dreams which is a quote I have always believed in an that is all because of something my Grandad said to me when I was 6 years old. I applied for a volunteering vacancy at a Dog Creche and I got an interview when I moved back from my final year at university, after my practical interview I e-mailed the owner on how I enjoyed my interview, and she replied back saying I was a lovely girl and was willing to learn new things, I was welcomed to the team with open arms which was such a big step for me.
while I was doing my volunteering I was working 4 days a week on a petting farm also (needed to have the money coming in), I also got my uni result back from my top-up year and unfortunately I failed 3 modules, I just couldn't afford the resits and decided that it just isn't meant to be, but i still had a FDSc. When I made that decision I was offered a part time job at the dog creche and I was jumping for joy that I have earn't this job and it was something I really wanted to do (work with dogs). I was able to leave the farm job which I didn't really enjoy even though I do miss slightly hehe. I have been working at the dog creche since September and it shows what volunteering over the summer can really do.
*Here is where I work and I think this is the best picture so far (I love these doggies and have such a good bond with them)*
In the August I FINALLY started to learn to drive at the age of 22 and I am going to book my theory test very soon (just gotta save up for it). I am enjoying it so much and I am saving up for the car and insurance (which is ridiculously expensive) but at least I am doing it.
In October I welcomed my nephew Charlie into the world and I cant believe how adorable he is and I cant wait to see him grow up to a wonderful young man.
ALOT has happened to me this year and it has all happened for the better. Now 2014 has begun I have thought up of some resolutions which I think are quite realistic for me (well there more goals really):
- Pass my driving test (theory/practical
- save money (I am doing well with this already)
- buy a car
Not many but I think they are pretty realistic and are do-able as well.
I am gonna make 2014 an even better year than 2013 and achieve my goals above. also I want to spend more time with my friends that I met while at College and University especially my Best friend Robyn from http://prettylittlethings993.blogspot.co.uk/ I miss her face ALOT!!! Just wait till I start to drive you will be seeing me that much you will hate it haha.
Miss my loverrrrrr (Bestie)
I hope everyone has an amazing 2014
xxx
