My first ever pair of Dr Martens: Drench Boot-first impressions

On the 14th June I said hello to my first ever pair of Dr Marten boots! Exciting times I know. I wanted some wellies for when I went to a festival (global gathering) I had some wellies but I wear them for work and the are quite high, and it just thought they are gonna take to much space in my rucksack, so I just google low ankle wellies and BAM! Docs came up and for £75 I could not turn them down, what is good about them is they are 100% waterproof which is great for British summer weather haha.

Sorry for the bad quality picture, I took this on my phone for instagram and the lighting is not very good

The ones i purchased were the purple ones in a size 6 and I am a 5.5 (annoying I know). And when they arrived which was very quick I tried them on and went to the Trafford centre, because they are not leather they did not need breaking in and they are so comfy you would not believe, what a relief!

They look so cute on, and I they are 100% waterproof

The are such a good price and when you order off the dr martens official site it' free delivery on orders over £50 so saving yourself some money, and they are going to last a while for sure, they will be perfect for when the horrible British winter arrives too.

I will be buying a leather pair of wellies as soon as I can, I want the black ones!!

what do you guys think of the drench boots?

Maybelline 24hr color tattoo//my latest addiction: swatches

The past month or two I have had a little addiction to a certain makeup product, and as you can tell from the title of this post it is the maybelline 24hr color tattoos. they are basically cream eyeshadow bases which can also be used on the own. they are so creamy you would not believe, and they are really pigmented.

the first one I purchased was 55-Immortal Charcoal which is a dark silvery grey shade, this is the prefect base for the ever so classic smokey eye, that's mainly the only thing i used that shade for.

The next shade I purchased was 65-pink gold, which is a pale pink shade with gold glitter in it. I have been wearing this shade alot on its own all over my lid and blended out with M.A.C's all that glitters eyeshadow in my crease, its been my got to spring/summer makeup eye look, a tutorial will be coming soon on my channel for this look, so keep an eye out for that on my channel.

the third shade I purchased was 40-permanent taupe which is a a brown(almost matte) colour with a purple undertone in it, some people describe it as a mushroom colour. I use this in my outer V of my eye, i match this up with the latest colour i purchased which is the very popular 35-bronze on bronze which is a coppery gold colour. I use this all over the lid, this is also great to wear on its own (this will be used in another makeup tutorial I plan doing soon also)

Here are the swatches of the products below

Left to right immortal charcoal, pink gold, permanent taupe, and bronze on bronze

I do find the darker shades are not as blendable but just use your finger and they are just like the others

I love my small collection I have and I intend to to collect more, wish we had more colour range like they do in the states (so jealous).

which color tattoos do you have and which one is your fave? i just cant decide

Update: Where have I been?

I have taken a step back from my blog and you tube channel the past few weeks, mainly because I have had alot of things going on at work and just haven't had time.
Unfortunately my grandma was rushed into hospital on Tuesday 1st April, she had a heart attack just over 2 years ago and has been very poorly ever since, she just wasn't well and all  family went to see here . unfortunately this morning my grandma gained her wings after her 2 year battle, I am absolutely heart broken but I know she is no longer in a any discomfort and has now joined my grandad in the sky.
I have filmed 2 videos for my youtube channel but cant be sure when they will be live online.
I just wanted to inform my followers whats going on and I will be back to normal as soon as I can. I hope you understand.

Me and my Grandma Christmas 2013. love you so much grandma! I will miss you so much

L'oreal Paris Super Liner Perfect Slim eyeliner

In one of my Collective Haul videos I purchased a L'oreal Paris liquid eyeliner pen called Super Liner perfect slim.
It has a 0.4mm tip and you can make a thin and thick  line with this product, and it has a easy grip to make the application easier, the eyeliner also says it can be done in one easy stoke.  The colour I purchased was Intense Black.

The packaging is a simple black with gold writing

The applicator is just like a felt tip and thin to create great detail

for me personally I don't think it can be done in one stroke, but this is because I do a cat eye flick most of the time but if you just do it along the lash line, you will most likely do it in one stroke.

 The product is really pigmented

I just love this eyeliner

The price of this great eyeliner is £6.99 in Superdrug and also Boots (I think), which I think is great as I used to use the Collection Extreme 24hr eyeliner (£2.99), but I felt like it dried out too quickly and tugged on my eyelid and looked a bit messy, did anyone else have that problem.

The colour payoff is great, its not faded or streaky it goes on as the colour suggest "intense" so great pigmentation from my opinion :).

Overall I love this eyeliner, it lasted me ages and hasn't dried out one bit yet, I would say go to super/boots and try it out for yourself. tell me what you think of this product or what eyeliner you use and works for you the best as I would love to here your views.

Seventeen Doll'd up mascara| Review

In one of my previous blog post I purchased Seventeen Doll'd Up Mascara, I have already read review on this mascara saying that it is really good so seen as I needed a new mascara ASAP, I thought I should give it a shot.

I popped into boots and the price was £6.29p (pretty good if you ask me), but when I went to pay at the counter it was reduced to £4!!... WHAT A BARGAIN!! (Not sure why or how long it was on that price for)
The packaging is red and black, looks simple but very sleek

The brush has a plastic brush (I like plastic bristle personally) and is slightly curve to help fan out the lashes

There is 9ml of product and a plastic brush which work better for my short stumpy lashes. The mascara is meant to lengthen and give volume to your lashes and give them up to 24 hour curl.

When I first used this product, it wasn't to dry pr wet, it was just right, I definitely noticed length and curl in my lashes, I noticed some volume but not a lot. The product also didn't clump to much and I applied 3 layers of mascara (I always do this cause of my short lashes), and the brush helped separate my lashes also.

before and after comparison (can you see how bad my natural lashes are??)

Both Eyes done

Having a pose haha

My lashes stayed curled and flake free, and even though the product is not waterproof, it stayed on even with this horrible weather England has been having lately

The mascara reminds me of my previous mascara I had by benefit "They're Real" which is £19.50 in boots, and even though I love it so  much I just can't  afford to get it every few months, but now I have an amazing new dupe for it (HAPPY DAYS)

I hope you enjoyed the review and give this mascara a try and tell me what you think of this mascara in the comment section below

New Camera has ARRIVED!!! New post coming soon

I can finally say my new camera has arrived after getting it in the wrong colour, the correct colour has arrived!! can finally keep up with my blog post schedule and YouTube can finally kick off properly :). I have been busy the past week with work and plus been a bit under the weather so apologies for no post the past week. I will be recording a new video this week, not sure what yet, but might be a haul most likely.
here is the first picture i took on my new camera and I think for a digital camera, its really good, I want to make photography a hobby as I have been inspired to do it by so many people on YouTube and by friends also, maybe in the near furture I can get a canon 600d which looks amazing. the camera is a Nikon Coolpix S6600, I might do a review on it in the next month.
hope you are all well.

I just love this picture and was just amazed of how good the camera did.

New Camera coming soon | FashionBeautyPaws

So I finally ordered a new camera from www.very.co.uk to use for my blog and to use for when I get more on track with my YouTube channel. It came on Wednesday but unfortunately I received it in the wrong colour (I ordered it in black and got it in purple) and I had to return it, but as soon as my refund is received i can order it again and hope it comes in the correct colour second time around.

The camera I have ordered is a Nikon Coolpix S6600 and its £159 on Very. The reason I ordered it is because it films in HD (16mp) and it also had a flip out screen so you can see yourself when you are recording and taking group photos and selfies of course haha, it is a good price and I cant wait to have better quality pictures in the next week or so.

So yeah I wanted to put a review up today but due to the camera situation i couldn't do so, oh well these things happen, but I want to stick to my schedule and post something. hope you understand

Belated Christmas staff do | Wolf Encounter 25.1.14

For our staff Christmas do at work, my boss arranged for us to go to a wolf encounter in a secret location somewhere in Wales.
It was such an amazing day, one because I had never seen a wolf before, and two I got to actually meet a wolf too.

Giving her some treats which were gone very quickly haha

She came straight to me out of everyone!! Made my day even more

She is so beautiful!!

The weather sadly wasn't the best because of the rain but when the wolf came out I forgot about the weather and was just so amazed by Madadh (pronounced like Maddy) the Wolf standing in front of me.

What an AMAZING way to start the new year, and it is an experience that I will never forget and I will definitely be going again.

My 2013!!

Wow! 2013 went very quickly this year (to me it has anyway) and I have to say after 2012 it has been the best year EVER!!! I am going to talk about some events that happened in my 2013 and I hope you enjoy. its a little late in January to write this but I have been busy with work.

Everyone in there life every year have their ups and downs and I have to admit, so did I. I got back with an ex who I thought "had changed" when really he hadn't changed one bit. we were gonna go on holiday together and he decided he didn't want to be with me HOURS before we had to get out flight. I have to admit though I didn't cry (well I teared up a little bit) but I knew that our relationship wasn't gonna work in the back of my mind. I felt like I had closure because the way it ended last time had a very bad effect on me and I started to have panic attacks and lost alot of weight, but this time I smiled to myself and thought "I am not gonna let him win," and I had a smile on and it has not left me since.

This leads on to what I did to show myself I am better than that person and went for my dreams which is a quote I have always believed in an that is all because of something my Grandad said to me when I was 6 years old. I applied for a volunteering vacancy at a Dog Creche and I got an interview when I moved back from my final year at university, after my practical interview I e-mailed the owner on how I enjoyed my interview, and she replied back saying I was a lovely girl and was willing to learn new things, I was welcomed to the team with open arms which was such a big step for me.

while I was doing my volunteering I was working 4 days a week on a petting farm also (needed to have the money coming in), I also got my uni result back from my top-up year and unfortunately I failed 3 modules, I just couldn't afford the resits and decided that it just isn't meant to be, but i still had a FDSc. When I made that decision I was offered a part time job at the dog creche and I was jumping for joy that I have earn't this job and it was something I really wanted to do (work with dogs). I was able to leave the farm job which I didn't really enjoy even though I do miss slightly hehe. I have been working at the dog creche since September and it shows what volunteering over the summer can really do.

*Here is where I work and I think this is the best picture so far (I love these doggies and have such a good bond with them)*

In the August I FINALLY started to learn to drive at the age of 22 and I am going to book my theory test very soon (just gotta save up for it). I am enjoying it so much and I am saving up for the car and insurance (which is ridiculously expensive) but at least I am doing it.

In October I welcomed my nephew Charlie into the world and I cant believe how adorable he is and I cant wait to see him grow up to a wonderful young man.

ALOT has happened to me this year and it has all happened for the better. Now 2014 has begun I have thought up of some resolutions which I think are quite realistic for me (well there more goals really):

  • Pass my driving test (theory/practical
  • save money (I am doing well with this already)
  • buy a car
Not many but I think they are pretty realistic and are do-able as well.

I am gonna make 2014 an even better year than 2013 and achieve my goals above. also I want to spend more time with my friends that I met while at College and University especially my Best friend Robyn from http://prettylittlethings993.blogspot.co.uk/ I miss her face ALOT!!! Just wait till I start to drive you will be seeing me that much you will hate it haha.

Miss my loverrrrrr (Bestie)

I hope everyone has an amazing 2014
